Research Eagle

Pre-submission check

Know what to fix
before you submit.

Upload your manuscript and choose the journal. Research Eagle checks it against the requirements on record for that journal, shows where each one was read, and tells you what to fix first.

How it works

The standard check is rule-based and uses no AI. Claude can draft fixes too, but only when you ask.

Upload your manuscript

DOCX or PDF, up to 25 MB. It is read, then deleted, never stored.

Choose the journal

Type its name or paste the ISSN: 30,269 Scopus-active journals and 996 conference series. You see what is on record for yours before you upload.

Fix what matters first

A readiness score, what each requirement rests on, and what to fix, in order.

Before you upload

No. The standard check is rule-based, runs on our own check engine and never calls a model. AI assistance is a separate, optional step you start yourself, and even then Claude sees short excerpts or only the notes you type, never the file.

It is read and deleted in the same request. We do not store it, and we do not share it with any publisher. Your result is yours.

It depends on the journal, and the check page shows you before you upload. You can choose from 30,269 Scopus-active journals and 996 conference series. For 18,960 of the journals at least one requirement is on record; for the rest, and for most conference series, only the general checks run, and the result says so. A requirement we do not hold is never counted as met.

They say what a requirement rests on. Verified: read on the journal’s own guide for authors, or on its publisher’s own author pages, within the last year. Shown with the link and the date. Inferred: read on another journal of the same publisher, or recommended by the source rather than required. Likely, not established for this journal. Reported: from a secondary source: a citation-style repository, what the journal reports to DOAJ, or a reader. Not read on the journal’s guide by us. Needs verification: held without a link or a date, last read more than a year ago, or contradicted by another source. Only a verified requirement can count as a blocker.

No. Research Eagle checks whether your manuscript meets the requirements on record for the journal. It does not judge your English, your argument or your science, and a high score is not a prediction of what an editor or a reviewer will decide.

No. Your first check needs no account at all, and checking is free and unlimited once you have one. A free account also includes 3 AI actions, 10 messages and 1 submission pack a month. You pay only if you want more than that.
